As we were just leaving our friend’s restaurant in Granite Bay near Roseville about six o’clock last night, a half a dozen iPhones went off with a tornado warning.  Heading west on I-80 across the Sacramento Delta we could see a monstrous black sky in the rear view mirror.

With its final show at its most original location a skip and a hop down Main Street, our friend Grace Levine and Co. bring out the big guns with their celebratory exhibition called “ANYTHING GOES”.   A curiously wild, gently-curated show, the works of local artists fill the walls and floors of this wonderful/we will miss it space.  The big news is, of course, that Shawn and Jann of Gypsy Cafe fame have been invited to display a few pieces.  This is a fun crowd/a not-to-be missed event/an unveiling that will haunt your dreams.  Well, let’s not go that far.  This is serious work which deserves and will soon have a much larger venue.  We will keep you posted.
