Willi’s Seafood

Still one of my favorite places in all of Sonoma County to eat, it was also fun to design and build.  I was experimenting with building furniture out of durapalm a sustainable building product made from renewable palm wood that has held up nicely over the years.  It was so attractive we also used it for wainscotting. I loved combining this modern green product with the classic antiqued tin celling and the new orleans style painted shutters for the cozy booths. The green walls reflected nicely in the smooth concrete floors and made the whole place very easy on the eyes and then there is the amazing Seafood.  Fresh chilled local oysters and ceviches and nothing better than their signature fried Calamari with chile orange sauce. Well maybe the buttery lobster roll.  Best Cocktails in town and of course they have a wonderful  selection of our California wines. This place is a sweet spot in Healdsburg.
